Wow, y’all. We had an amazing time this past Friday at our spring release party with Kendra Scott celebrating our spring issue and raising money for Alzheimer’s research. If you’re not familiar with Kendra Scott, they’re an awesome company (owned by a woman, and based in the South!) They also do Kendra Gives Back parties in which 20% of the proceeds from the event are donated to a non-profit or charitable cause. We decided to team up with our friend and beauty contributor Jules, who’s raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association with Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia this spring, and we are also donating 20% of Paprika Southern’s proceeds from the event.
It was a great night! Jules and one of her associates, Brooke, were on hand doing glitter eyeshadow for guests, Ely of De Colores Cookies Y Mas outdid herself with both Paprika Southern cookies AND a floral cake inspired by our spring issue, our friends at Colonial House of Flowers contributed a massive flower arrangement, glitter champs was popped, and we had the pleasure of meeting new readers and mingling with some of you who have supported Paprika Southern from the beginning.
A huge thanks to everyone who came out for the event! If you’d like to support Jules’ fundraising efforts, you can so here (no amount too small–you can donate as much as you wish, or as little as $1!), and you can order your copy of our spring issue here.
