We recently had the opportunity to attend Runway in Bloom at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. Savannahians may remember this location as the former Bamboo Garden. If you haven’t visited in a while, the gardens have undergone a complete redesign and now have a lovely visitors’ center (where you can pick up a copy of Paprika Southern!), a gorgeous water garden, palm and bamboo collections and more. The Runway in Bloom event was held as a fundraiser for their planned educational children’s garden, and several Savannah shops and designers showcased their collections. Highlights included vintage looks from local favorites House of Strut and Future on Forsyth, original designs from SCAD fashion students Roanne Nonesa and Meghan Caffrey, and botanical dresses made by event producer Stephanie Tedder and our own ad salesgal Hayley Larson. We had a fabulous time hanging with Adriana and Heather from Do Savannah and viewing collections. We hope you enjoy the photos below!
If you would like to purchase a hi-res download of any of the photos each is available for $20, with half the proceeds being donated to the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. Email siobhan(at)paprikasouthern(dot)com with any purchase inquiries.
