We recently had two amazing events–our spring release party, where we also raised money for the Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire, and a pop-up at Dot & Army in Brunswick, GA. If you missed either, we’re sharing some images from both events today.
Spring Release Party
For our spring release party, we were thrilled to return to one of our favorite Savannah venues, Cohen’s Retreat. Cohen’s provided delicious light bites along with drink specials, and musician Eric Britt set the mood with his tunes. Carlstedt’s set up a make-your-own flower crown bar, and twenty local businesses, artists and makers donated prizes for a show-stopper of a raffle.
We were beyond excited that so many of you turned out for this event and so thankful for the donations you made to the Rape Crisis Center. We love being able to bring the community together in this way, all while celebrating the release of a new issue of Paprika Southern!
Thanks to Josh Fritz for the event photography at our spring release party!
Brunswick Pop-up at Dot & Army
Following our release party, we headed down the coast to Brunswick for a pop-up event at Dot- & Army. It was an evening of #girlboss power, with the creative community of Brunswick coming out to show their support and love of their fellow local makers. Paprika Southern contributor Kim Daniels created and served up a signature cocktail for the event, Tree House Macarons provided their macarons, and additional delicious bites were provided by The Farmer & The Larder, featured in our spring issue. Jenny Van’t Land, also featured in the same issue, also had a pop-up of her embroidery pieces at the same time.
After the event, we headed across the street to The Farmer & The Larder for an amazing dinner. We seriously can’t express how wonderfully welcome the Brunswick community made us feel! We’re excited to return there for our next event, coming up on May 12, when we join Moxie Craft Fest for an evening of indie crafty fun (psst–look for more coverage of Moxie coming up on the blog next week!)
